Hi I have an 8yr old and 11yr old daughters we are heading to Disney in October with my niece who is 2 we will be attending the Bippidi Boppity Boo boutique and looking for ideas on what they can wear not a princess dress 😢

Hi Andrea, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I hope you all have so much fun counting down to your Walt Disney World vacation together – I love this phase of planning our outfits, making packing lists, and doing all my Disney dreaming.

My tween daughter has really gotten into dressing in #Disneybound outfits, where you choose clothes inspired by a particular Princess or character; for example, a Belle Disneybound might involve a yellow dress with rose earrings and a book-themed purse. My daughter attended Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year in a Mulan Disneybound, wearing a skirt, top, and belt in Mulan’s colors, makeup inspired by the Matchmaker scene, and a bun in her hair with an orchid clip in it. What’s great about Disneybounding is that you can be creative and really let the outfit display the things about the character that are special to you. It’s also much cooler and more comfortable than wearing those princess dresses!

Andrea, you and your girls can search for inspiration online – there are tons of great photos to inspire you. I also like searching a character name on the ShopDisney website, because you’ll get to see all the clothes and accessories connected to that character. If the girls are planning to get a particular princess-inspired makeover package at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, you could have so much fun choosing just the right outfit that reflects both the character and the wearer’s individual style.

Okay, I’m so excited for your Princesses now, Andrea! Have so much fun outfit planning, and don’t forget to get lots of pictures when it all comes together. The characters get so excited when they see Guests who admire them, and you’re sure to make some magical memories together.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
