My 3yr old won't be able to ride on all of the rides the rest of my fam of 5 will, so I will have a couple extra FP+'s for him. If I use those on character experiences instead, will I be able to take him to meet Mickey (even if I have no FP for that)?

Hi, Ryan! We love using FastPass+ selections for meeting the characters, and I'm so glad that you asked this question now instead of being disappointed when it is time to hop in the FastPass+ line! Everyone that is going to enter the FastPass+ queue will need to have made a FastPass+ selection. So, in order to accompany your son through the queue and during the meet and greet will need to have scheduled a FastPass+ time to be able to join him. I'm sending pixie-dusted wishes that you are able to make all the FastPass+ selections that you want! Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
