My 7 yr old son and I will be traveling to Disney for the first time 10/25-11/1. I have tickets for MNSSHP for Tue 10/27. I am debating purchasing another pair for Halloween night. Is it worth going twice or do you have another Halloween night suggestion?

    Hello, Kelly!

October is my favorite time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one party I make sure I never miss! Just today, the Disney Parks Blog announced Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, a new show that will debut this fall during Mickey's famous Halloween party. I am looking forward to what evil the Sanderson Sisters will cook up during this show!

There are so many spooktacular activities to enjoy during Mickey's party I can see why you are considering going twice during your visit! We have found that crowd levels are much lower, and most attractions have little wait. One night you could focus on meeting favorite Characters, trick-or-treating, riding those must-do attractions and watching HalloWishes! Then on the second-night plan to focus on the shows, dance parties, the Boo-to-You Parade and revisit other favorites you want to experience again. I'm sure you will find that planning to attend two party nights will allow you to enjoy all the party has to offer.

If you decide not to join Mickey and his Pals for a Halloween night party, in the past, select resort hotels have offered Halloween activities. Last year we found that our resort hotel had contests, pumpkin decorating, costume parades, games and even a few special Characters joined the trick-or-treaters for some fun. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog or ask your resort concierge for special Halloween events that may occur during your stay.

I hope you have a magical Halloween visit! Please let us know if we can be of further assistance as you plan your visit.
