We have a 4 yr old son (43") tall and were wondering if it was best to take him now or later. Not sure if he is tall enough for rides and if he is old enough to enjoy most attractions. Thanks.

    Hi there, Jeff!

The following is a list of attractions at the Parks with height requirements. If the attraction does not appear on this list - e.g., it's a small world - then there is no height requirement.

    Animal Kingdom Dinosaur 40"
    Animal Kingdom Expedition Everest 44"
Animal Kingdom Kali River Rapids 38"
    Animal Kingdom Primeval Whirl 48"

    Epcot Mission Space 44"
    Epcot Test Track 40"
    Epcot Soarin' 40"

Hollywood Studios Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith 48"
Hollywood Studios Star Tours: The Adventures Continue 40"
Hollywood Studios The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 40"

Magic Kingdom Big Thunder Mountain Railroad 40"
    Magic Kingdom Splash Mountain 40"
    Magic Kingdom Space Mountain 44"
Magic Kingdom Stitch's Great Escape 40"
Magic Kingdom Tomorrowland Indy Speedway 52" to drive; there is no height requirement to be a passenger.

With this info in mind, I would consider making a list of height-specific attractions for your son. So many of the attractions have no minimum height requirement - particularly at the Magic Kingdom - that you should no trouble finding a wealth of fun things for him to do.

If you'd like, please send me your Park choices and what attractions your son would like to try, and I will be glad to help you narrow down an itinerary.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
