Hi Paula,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting that your children plan to be in character during your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! At this time, children under 14-years old are allowed to wear costumes in the theme parks. Please review the
Park Rules for more specific information on what clothing is prohibited. If your children will be 11 and 13 at the time of your trip, you should be able to proceed as planned!
It sounds like your children are big Star Wars fans. If so, I hope you are aware of all of the exciting
Star Wars Attractions at Disney's Hollywood Studios. My girls have enjoyed
Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple and
Star Tours - The Adventures Continue. If you have never done Jedi Training before, be sure to get to the park before it opens and, once you can enter, head directly to the sign-up location, which is currently at the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost. Training times fill quickly. Younglings must be 4-12 years old to train. As you know, it is the duty of every Jedi to protect peace in the galaxy. We are depending on our young Jedi apprentices to learn to use the Force for good and keep the galaxy safe.
May The Force Be With You!
