My 15 yr old son has Aspergers. In some aspects he is 15 and in others about 9-10. There are some things I know he would be interested in, but they say an age limit of 8-11. Can you be older and still participate? Can you reccomend any new activities?

    Hi Rachel,

My son has Asperger's too.  I think you'll find that Walt Disney World is an incredibly "user-friendly" destination for kids on the spectrum.  I do!   Your son can absolutely, positively participate in any attraction that he's interested in.  I am way over the "recommended" interest level for It's a Small World, and go on each time I visit!  As for things your son will enjoy, my son (age 9) loves Toy Story and Star Tours at Hollywood Studios, Space, Splash and Big Thunder Mountains at Magic Kingdom, along with Buzz Lightyear, and Soarin' and Test Track at Epcot.  We also love Wishes, the fireworks spectacular at Magic Kingdom, but prefer to watch it in a "less intense" environment, and often opt for the beach at the Polynesian Resort.  If you have more questions, feel free to write back!

    Happy planning!
