Hi, My 9yr old son and I are arriving at Orlando at 7.30pm New Year's Eve and transferring to All Stars Music by Disney bus. I am looking for ideas on what we can do to see the New Year in. Are there any resorts where we can watch fireworks from? Thanks!

    Hi Donna,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Celebrating New Year's Eve at the Walt Disney World Resort is a magical way to ring in the New Year! You are going to have a "Pixie Dusted" start to 2016!

If you want to enjoy the fireworks show from inside a Theme Park, I suggest that you arrive as early in the evening as you can since the crowd levels get extremely high and the Parks often reach capacity. Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, and Disney's Hollywood Studios all have fireworks shows to celebrate the New Year.

You can also view Holiday Wishes and/or the New Year's Eve fireworks show ( Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks) outside of Magic Kingdom Park. The beach area at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and the Marina at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, both offer an absolutely breathtaking view of the fireworks show! You can head over to Disney's Beach Club Resort and view the New Years version of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth on the bridge just before the International Gateway entrance to Epcot. To view Lights! Camera, Happy New Year! fireworks show taking place in Disney's Hollywood Studios I recommend heading to Disney's BoardWalk Inn and taking a seat by Luna Park Pool.

Please let us know if we can help you with any additional vacation planning questions!

    Enjoy Your Magical Celebration,
