Hello. My 4 yr old has a peanut allergy, which means he cannot have anything processed in a facility that has peanuts. How does Disney handle peanut allergies? We are looking into the meal plan option and character dinning. Thanks

    Hi Jill,

Disney is wonderful at dealing with special food needs.    If you need to make dining reservations before you arrive please call (407)WDW-DISNEY.  When making the reservation please let them know what your child's allergies are.  They will make note of it and let the restaurant know in advance.

Upon your arrival, make sure you remind the Castmembers of your child's allergies.  More often than not, the Chef will come out to speak with you about the selections.

You can also email Disney's food experts at specialdiets@disneyworld.com.  You can let them know your concerns in detail and they will help you by giving you more information and solutions.  I hope this information is helpful to you.

I hope you have a wonderful time on your vacation!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
