I have a 6 yr old that no longer fits in an umbrella stroller. Does Disney have size requirements for strollers? I am looking at the City Elite strollers and they are bigger than an umbrella stroller.

Hello Joyce.  Thanks for visiting us here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Believe it or not, my daughter is 6 years old and I still bring a stroller to Walt Disney World.  Call me crazy but it is so nice for her to be able to sit down for a little while.  Plus, I love having a place to put all of my stuff I bring with me into the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.  Because my daughter is older and we don't use a stroller in every day life, I rent one from a stroller rental company in Orlando.  I rent the specific stroller you are looking at taking, the City Elite. It is a great size to take with you on your vacation, it has a basket underneath for storage and cup holders to hold your drinks.  Most strollers are fine to bring inside of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, the size of the stroller cannot exceed 36"x52".  You will see several large strollers including double strollers while you are on vacation.  Another thing I should mention, when it comes to strollers, is you have to fold them down while traveling on the Disney Bus Transportation.  As long as you know how to fold it down, you will be perfectly fine bringing a City Elite to Walt Disney World during your vacation.

Have a magical vacation.  If I can help you with anything else, please feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
