I have a 3 yr old do I need to include him in room reservation? And does he need a ticket for the park entrances?

Welcome Foolish Mortals to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so happy to see you here today Cynthia. Your Mouseketeer will be so excited to experience Walt Disney World Resort with you all, during your upcoming trip.

When making your Disney Resort Hotel Reservation, be sure to include your 3-year old on the reservation. It’s the best way to ensure that the room you book is suitable for the number of Guests in your party. My family is a family of 4 and we always include our two Mousketeers (ages 5 and 2) when searching for a room that can accommodate us all. We loved the Standard Rooms at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, they sleep up to 4 adults and it fit our family perfectly!

After you’ve selected where you want to stay, next you can start looking at your ticket options. Mouseketeers ages 3 and up will need a valid park admission, so yes be sure to purchase a ticket for your 3-year old! Don’t forget to include them in any dining reservations you may be making as well!

When planning for our visits, I find that booking our trips as a package works best for us. I also like to include a Disney Dining Plan to our package. With a Disney Dining Plan, your family will be able to enjoy many delicious food offerings across all 4 parks! There are so many other benefits included for Disney Resort Hotel Guests, I’m sure your trip will be filled with Magical Memories for years to come!

    Happy Haunts!
