Hi Julee!
I'm so happy to hear that you are planning a family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! There are so many things for Guests of all ages to enjoy and you will love experiencing the
attractions,
entertainment and
Character Experiences in the theme parks with your little ones. Be sure to consider adding
Memory Maker to your vacation so you can capture and save all of the magical moments you have together during your trip.
Admission tickets are a very important part of your vacation planning and you've asked a great question about purchasing tickets for your family. Guests who are 3 years old and above will require an admission ticket, but there are separate tickets for Guests who are 3-9 years old and Guests who are 10 years old and above. While you could use a 10+ ticket for your 3-year-old Mouseketeer, you would be spending more money on that ticket than required.
The price of child tickets is a little bit hidden, but you can find it by navigating to the
theme park ticket page and selecting the type of ticket you would like to use for your vacation. Then you will select the length of your ticket and the start date of your vacation. Finally, if you scroll down you will see a spot to select the number adult (ages 10+) tickets and child (ages 3-9) tickets you would like to purchase and it will also show you the price of each type of ticket. You can check out the
Ticket Guide for additional information and tips about selecting the perfect ticket for your trip!
Julee, be sure to take advantage of
Rider Switch during your vacation so you can enjoy all of the "big kid" attractions while you are traveling with your little ones. Also, feel free to come back to see us if we can help you again as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
