Hi Emily!
Welcome to planDisney!
We are excited to hEAR that you are considering bringing your 2-year old to the Walt Disney World Resort! According to the current
operational updates, all Guests ages 2-years old and over need to wear an appropriate face covering. On our last visit, we saw lots of little ones wearing their masks correctly. I hear your concern and believe you have two options. First, you could postpone your trip until face coverings are not required although we unfortunately have no guarantee when that might be or, 2) keep practicing with your little one wearing it at home.
Keep in mind that there are relaxation stations in the parks where you could take a break. As long as you are stationary and actively eating or drinking, you could take a break from your mask wearing. Remember also that you do not have to spend all day in the parks. When our girls were smaller, we always returned to the resort hotel for afternoon breaks. We would either nap or head to the pool.
Given your anticipated arrival date, I do hope you have
Disney Park Pass system reservations. In looking at the
theme park availability calendar, it looks like Disney's Hollywood Studios is already at capacity for park pass reservations on April 12 and 13 unless you are an Annual Passholder. If you have not yet made advanced dining reservations, do so as soon as possible. If reservations are not available, remember that you can do
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering as well as check
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability.
Emily, we had so much fun on our last trip. The food, the rides, the characters were all amazing. Even though our experience was different than in years prior, we planned accordingly and used the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to check-in for our dining reservations! I am sending you lots of planning pixie dust as you prepare for your next
Incredible Disney Day!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
