    My 7 yr old loves animals and would love to stay at AKL. But the savannah view rooms are not in the budget. Do you think it is worth the cost to stay there if only in a std. view room? We usually opt for value resorts!

    Hi Kelly,

    I've stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge multiple times in both a savanna-view room and a standard-view room. While I definitely prefer a savanna-view room, it's worthwhile to stay in a standard-view room. You'll still be able to see lots of animal in the various viewing areas throughout the resort. It's such a fun atmosphere too. I think your 7-year old will really enjoy it.
