My 2 and 5 yr. old love fireworks- but not the noise. Is there a place to view the MK fireworks and Illuminations where it's not so noisy? Was thinking about Polynesian to see the MK fireworks and the electric water pagent.

    Hi Peggy,

I like how you think.  The beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort would be my suggestion for a prime fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant viewing spot.  Your children will enjoy the sights without any unpleasant sounds.  Plus, you can all swing by Capt. Cook's in the Great Ceremonial House of Disney's Polynesian Resort before the fireworks begin to pick up a tasty treat to enjoy while you watch the fireworks.  (My favorite treat there is the Dole whip. Yum!)

As for Illuminations, if you want to hear the soundtrack to the show, you'll want to scout out a spot along World Showcase.  You might want to consider standing near the International Gateway between the France and United Kingdom pavilions as there is a quiet little path there where you could retreat if your children find the experience overwhelming.  My suggestion, however, would be to bring some comfortable earplugs for your kids, if they are willing to wear them.  This will let you get close enough to really enjoy Illuminations.

Wishing you all a magical family vacation!
