My 5yr old has been granted a wish through Make A Wish foundation to visit WDW! We can travel anytime in Feb. We are currently scheduled for feb 6-13. Should we change it and are there any special events during those dates that we would need to avoid?

    Hi Todd,
Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You have chosen a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Although you may have a little increased traffic due to the Presidents' Day holiday, rest assured that you will be missing the large influx of crowds for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend happening later in the month. If I were you, I wouldn't change a thing (and I'd start counting down to make those FastPass+ selections in early December)!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful time and make many lasting, magical memories.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Florida

I’ve grown up in Central Florida and have been visiting Disney Parks for over 30 years. Now that I’m a mom myself of a blended family with four kids, I love sharing Disney’s year-round special events with my family. Some of our favorite events are the Flower and Garden Festival, Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Let me help you plan something extraordinary for your next Disney Parks vacation! Learn More About Amy
