    Our 6 yr old being granted a MAW, she wish for a trip to DW. We are a family 5, with 2 older teen boys ages 16 & 13. What are some top things to do that will please everyone? What can we expect from DW? Can we stay at the resorts instead of GKTW?

    Hi Sara ~

    I am very excited for your daughter that her Disney Make-A-Wish (MAW) trip has been granted. I think it is wonderful you are looking for options to please everyone. My family loves the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. Another great option is the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party.

    We also love spending time at Downtown Disney where you can check out:
    * Characters in Flight
    * DisneyQuest
    * Splitsville

    If you are visiting during a warmer month, we love heading to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon water parks.

    Character meals are always a must do and I would suggest Chef Mickey's or the Crystal Palace. For a cool treat, visit Beaches & Cream Soda Shop and share a Kitchen Sink.

    Prior to your trip, MAW should provide you with all of the materials you will need for Disney. Cast Members will assist you with minimizing your wait times and spreading tons of pixie dust along the way to create magical memories. Be sure your daughter wears her MAW pin which helps Cast Members identify MAW families. Never hesitate to see a Cast Member for help - they will take great care of your daughter.

    You will need to speak with MAW regarding your accommodations. I have toured the Give Kids The World Village in person a couple of times and it is beyond amazing. They do a fabulous job of taking care of all of their families. They offer so many incredible activities and it is a nice break from the hectic theme parks.

    I'm limited in space but please feel free to visit again with all of your questions.

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
