Hi, there!
Beth, you are going to have the best time with your grandson at the Walt Disney World Resort this spring. Your trip will be nothing short of magical! I'll never forget the first time I watched our oldest son participate in Jedi Training. I got teary-eyed watching his Jedi Knight dreams come true! I'm happy to give you some tips to make sure your grandson participates in this incredible experience.
Availability for
Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple is limited, and offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your best bet is to arrive to
Disney's Hollywood Studios 30-45 minutes prior to park opening. When you arrive, head for the turnstiles farthest to the left. This will give you the best placement to head down Hollywood Boulevard when Cast Members begin escorting Guests into the park. I suggest walking down the left side of Hollywood Boulevard with a little extra pep in your step! A Cast Member will be standing near the corner of Mickey's of Hollywood with a sign directing Guests to Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple sign-ups, located just past Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost. This map of the park might help you prepare for your visit:
Disney's Hollywood Studios Beth, please keep in mind that your grandson will need to be present for sign-ups. In the past, we've been given several options for show times. We try to pick the earliest show possible because the stage area is not shaded, and it can get quite warm for spectators!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. May the force be with you!
