My 14 yr old granddaughter is a vegetarian....several of the resturants we have reservations at really don't have much choice on the adult menu that does not involve meat...would she be allowed to choose from the childrens menu in this case.

    Hi Paula,

I think you'll find that Walt Disney World Restaurants, in general, are very accommodating to the needs of the guest.  If your granddaughter finds something that she would like to eat on the child's menu, you can request an adult sized portion.  Likewise, if there is a meal that she thinks she might like, but it has meat, it never hurts to ask if a vegetarian version of the meal can be made.  They may not always be able to accommodate your request, but they are usually willing to try.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
