Would my 5 yr old who is just getting into drawing like the mation Animation Academy or is it too advanced and would she find it boring and difficult, dont want to discourage her. thanks for all your help

    Hi Michele!

Animation Academy is one my favorite things to do in Hollywood Studios with my son!  If you daughter likes drawing, then this experience is perfect for her, even if she is young.  The animators who work with you during Animation Academy give step by step instructions on how to draw a particular character as well as drawing techniques.  If your daughter can follow instructions like draw a large circle here, an oval here, and then join the two with a curved line, then she definitely can make a drawing in Animation Academy.  The animator shows you how to do everything in small steps and you can see what he or she is doing on a big overhead screen.  The best part is you get to take your creation home with you!  If she really likes this experience, then you can do it again to draw another character. Who knows, maybe your daughter will become the next great Pixar or Disney Animator when she grows up!

I hope that you both have an magical, animated time in the Animation Academy on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
