4 yr old has a foot-thigh cast for trip to WDW. :-( Cleared to do anything but swim. Will cast make rides difficult? There is a slight bend at knee and she sits ok in chairs. Also, any ideas on dry activities outside parks? Staying at Boardwalk. Thanks!

    Hi Jennie,

I'm sorry to here about your daughter having to go to Walt Disney World with a cast. Even with her in a cast, I'm sure she will have a great time! I cannot think of any rides which she would have a problem riding. Since she is still young, I would recommend using a wheelchair for the parks as it just makes it much easier to get around.

Outside of the parks there are lots of activities which she can participate in. You could take her fishing or shopping or take her on a monorail. I would check the activities newsletter at the resort to see what they are offering the week you will be there.

Thank you so much for asking the Moms Panel! If you have additional questions, please feel free to ask, we are always here to help!
