My 70yr old father had double knee replacements and we are planing a 4 day multiple park trip. We are not staying in a hotel resort,I am wonder what the best way to go about renting an ecv is? Also how will it work waiting in line for rides?

    Hi Rachel!

Kudos to you and your father for not letting anything get in the way of a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It's an awesome accomplishment to hear and I'm sure he'll be feeling much more magical with an extra helping of pixie dust.

Disney does rent ECVs at each of the 4 theme parks, 2 water parks and Disney Springs. I've included a link which will give you the latest pricing information as well as a map of where the rental locations are located. As far as how it will work once you are in the park for rides and experiences, I think you'll be surprised at the number of attractions where Guests are able to remain in their ECV. There are also other options for Guests with mobility disabilities, including transferring from an ECV to a wheelchair or to the ride vehicle. For a complete list of which rides require which mobility options please visit the Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities page of the Walt Disney World Resort website.

Have an incredible vacation, Rachel, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to help you plan.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
