My 3yr old dght is going to Disney w/Make a wish, even tho they provide tickets, the planning is up to us. She is getting a Tinkerbell wish, we get 3 days in Disney, 2 days in US, 1 day in SW. Any suggestions??We never have been to disney. 10/1 arrival.

    Hi Karen,

How wonderful that your daughter has received a Wish Trip! I love the Make a Wish foundation and everything that they do to bring happiness to children who so richly deserve it. Your little girl will be given a special pin that will make it easy for Cast Members to identify her as a "Wish child". They will go above and beyond to try to make her experience as magical as possible. When you first enter the Magic Kingdom, you'll want to pick up a Times Guide (by the park maps). If she is a big fan of the princesses, check that for specific character meet and greet times and locations. She'll be able to have lots of photos taken with them, so be sure to bring your camera! At 3 years old, she'll particularly enjoy Fantasyland, so you'll likely spend quite a bit of time in that area of the park. The Many Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh, the carousel, It's a Small World and Peter Pan's Flight are all rides she'll really enjoy. You may also want to stop by the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom and ask them if there are any openings to dine with Winnie-the-Pooh and friends. This is a great restaurant and is a favorite of preschoolers in particular. You arrive on Disney World's 40th Anniversary this coming Saturday, so the parks will be especially crowded. Be sure to stop by Guest Relations as soon as you arrive to receive a Guest Assistance card. This will prevent your daughter from having to wait in excessively long lines and will make the entire experience better for all of you.

With 3 days in Disney World, I'm assuming you may be visiting the other parks as well. I'm out of room, but if you send me a follow-up question, I can assist you further.

I am wishing you an incredible vacation with your family as you make memories that will last a lifetime. May this be the first of many Disney trips for your little girl,
