Hi, Elnora! It's so nice to chat with you again here at planDisney!
It sounds like you've been doing some resEARch to get ready for your upcoming visit to
Walt Disney World Resort. You definitely have the right idea with planning to experience the attractions that tend to have longer wait times earlier in the day. This is usually the strategy that I like to use when I visit the theme parks as well. I always recommend that Guests arrive in time for park opening in the morning and head to the most popular attractions early in the day while the parks are less crowded.
If you take a look at your
My Disney Experience mobile app during park operating hours, you can view the current wait times for all of the attractions even before you arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth. This will help you get an idea of which attractions typically have longer waits. To view wait times, open the app and click on the "Location" icon at the bottom of your screen. You'll see it just to the right of the "Home" icon. This should bring up a map of Magic Kingdom Park showing wait times for all of the attractions. To view the wait time maps for the other theme parks, click on "Filter" and select another park. Since you are traveling with your little princess, I would also recommend taking a look at
the list of attractions on the Walt Disney World website and filtering it by height to make sure your daughter is tall enough for all of the attractions that you would like to try.
In my experience, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train tends to be the most popular
Magic Kingdom Park attraction. Peter Pan's Flight, Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain also typically see longer wait times. Over at
EPCOT, Test Track, Soarin' Around the World, and Frozen Ever After tend to be the most popular attractions. The longest wait time at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is for Avatar Flight of Passage, but Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest- Legend of the Forbidden Mountain are also very popular. During a visit to
Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can expect to see longer waits for Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway and Slinky Dog Dash. Also, please be aware that if you're hoping to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will need to
join a virtual queue boarding group to do so.
Wishing you a Walt Disney World Resort vacation that's practically perfect in every way!
Samantha
