Hi my 10 yr old daughter and I are visiting family in Tampa and we want to go to WDW is it possible to do it as a day trip and can we do it on a tight budget (single mom)? What would be the main attractions? Is it too overwhelming for one day? Thanks

    Hi Lynn,

Yes, you can definitely drive over from Tampa to Walt Disney World in Orlando.  I would suggest that you focus on one of the Theme Parks.  Now remember, you will not be able to experience everything in one day.  Believe it or not, I can never experience everything in a week!

Magic Kingdom is my favorite theme park and my little Nemos love it, too!  You should focus on the main attractions or let your little Princess decide which attractions she would like to experience.  I think you could do a lot in one day.  Remember there's always next time!

    Have a magical day!
