Does my 14 yr old daughter needs her own my Disney experience account in order to join boarding group for RoTR?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cintia! It's so exciting that your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is coming up this weekend. Now is a great time to start thinking about some of those final details, like getting to know the boarding group system for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, and I'm happy to walk you through it so let's jump right in!

If you have been making plans for your daughter already, like assigning a ticket to her, making FastPass+ selections for her, or if she's named on your Resort Hotel reservation, she does not need to have her own My Disney Experience account in order to join a boarding group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance because she's already linked to your family through your account. Once your family has scanned your tickets or MagicBands to enter Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will be able to use your My Disney Experience app to enter the virtual queue once the Theme Park opens for the day. Once you tap the "Join Boarding Group" button, you will be able to choose from a list of all of your connected friends and family that are there with you. The boarding groups have been going really quickly in the morning, so make sure you arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios a little bit before it opens so you have the best chances of success for joining the virtual queue.

I hope this answers your question, Cintia, and may the Force be with you!
