My 6yr old daughter is Minnie /mickey mad. Please advise on chef mickey/cape may character dining. we are staying at yacht club so thought maybe breakfast at cape may or is it far to do dinner at contemporary resort instead? are they far apart? thanks

    Hi Carolyn!

So you've got a Mickey and Minnie Mouse fan in your house? I know just how you feel! When my girls were little, they just couldn't enough of Walt Disney World Resort's most famous couple. The good news is, your daughter will find plenty of places to meet, greet, and interact with her favorite Disney Characters.

Both Character Dining experiences you mentioned are amazing - you really couldn't go wrong with either one. Since you'll be staying at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, breakfast at Cape May Cafe, located at Disney's Beach Club Resort, is certainly the most convenient. You can simply walk over to Cape May and dine before you start your day exploring the theme parks! My daughter and I recently visited Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast, and we loved it. The buffet was bountiful (Mickey waffles for the win!), and we got to meet Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. They were dressed in their beachy best, and stopped by our table for autographs and photos.

Chef Mickey's would only be a short drive or bus ride away, and is equally awesome. The plus side of Chef Mickey's is that usually both Mickey and Minnie are on hand to entertain and greet guests with other Disney friends (please remember - character appearances are subject to change). It's easy to plan a meal at Chef Mickey's on a day you'll be enjoying Magic Kingdom Park - it's only a quick walk or a short Monorail ride over to Disney's Contemporary Resort. While Cape May only features Disney Characters at breakfast, Chef Mickey's has Disney friends on hand all day!

I really can't pick a favorite between these two dining experiences - it's really just up to which one works out best with your schedule! I hope whichever one you choose, your daughter has the best time ever!
