Welcome to planDisney, Eunji! Meeting some of our favorite characters is one of the best things to do at the Walt Disney World Resort! I remember the first time that my son met his favorite, Timon, from The Lion King! Timon was so cool! He even spent a little extra time with my son since he knew he was his favorite!
To celebrate the release of Inside Out 2, Joy will begin making special appearances at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Joy will begin to meet and greet Guests at Pixar Place on June 10, 2024! At the present time, it is not known how long Joy will remain at this location. I hope it will last through your visit in September!
Eunji, as we get closer to September, I encourage you to check the
Walt Disney World Resort website. When you arrive at the site, enter “Meet Joy” in the search bar. The details for the meet and greet opportunity, including times and location, will be shared on the website. Another possibility is that
Joy could return to her traditional meet and greet location in EPCOT when she is done with her summer “tour” of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Just like our emotions, please note that character appearances are subject to change.
While we wait for September, be sure to catch Joy in Inside Out 2 beginning on June 14, 2024!
