My 14yr old daughter and I would like to experience dinner Tiffin's while we are on the Disney dining plan. Can we share a meal and only use 2 dining credits for that one meal or can we have a reservation and just order dessert?

    Hello Jackie!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I absolutely love Tiffins and I am sure you and your daughter will have an amazing time! The restaurant is gorgeous and the food is beyond delicious. I have just returned from a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with my family, and this was one of my husband’s favorite places to eat.

Table-Service locations currently have a no sharing policy for Guests over the age of 3, so both you and your daughter would have to order a meal, even if you decide not to use Disney Dining Plan entitlements. If you use your Disney Dining Plan to purchase your meals, 2 credits will be deducted per Guest, as this is a signature dining venue.

You can have a reservation and pay out of pocket if you order only desserts, although I truly believe you will change your mind once you see their menu. Our current favorites are the Grilled Swordfish and the Seared Hokkaido Scallops. Being from Brazil I absolutely loved the South American Chocolate Ganache and the Passion Fruit Tapioca Créme for dessert. A true culinary expedition!

Another great dining option at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Yak & Yeti Restaurant, where one Table-Service entitlement per Guest is required when using the Disney Dining Plan. I also suggest trying Satu’li Canteen, a new Quick-Service venue located in Pandora – The World of Avatar.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
