Does a2 yr old child need a ticket or pass or do they just enter with the adult/parent ticket?

Hey there, P, and welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! Visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth with tiny tots is so much fun. I love experiencing the Disney parks all over again with a new perspective: through the eyes of my little ones! And the best part? Their park admission is absolutely free. Let's get into it--I have great news for you ahead!

Your little Mouseketeer under the age of 3 does indeed have free admission to all Disney theme parks and water parks. And don't worry about a thing--not even proof of age. They do not need a ticket or an annual pass in order to step into the magic. They also don't need a theme park reservation or be included in any Disney Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lane purchases. The Guest who accompanies them does need a valid theme park ticket (and maybe even a theme park reservation depending on their ticket type).

AN EXTRA GEM: P, I would absolutely include your little one in your advance dining reservations though. When making the reservation, simply add them to the party count. When you get to the restaurant for check-in, open the My Disney Experience app and indicate that your child is under the age of 3. What I absolutely love is that kiddos under 3 years old eat for free at all-you-care-to-enjoy table-service restaurants like Tusker House Restaurant

I hope that this helps you with your Disney vacation planning, P. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to revisit me here at planDisney. I'm all ears!

    Magic always,
