I have a 3yr old boy , in 2 yrs , planning a trip to walt disney , in 2017..i will have 3000 dollars saved and to give him the best day at walt disney possible the most interesting hotel their. 4 people -dad,mom,sis,hisself..what would u suggest

Hello, Sandra! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

With your budget and family size, I would plan to stay at one of the Walt Disney World Resort value hotels! Specifically, I would recommended my favorite - Disney's Pop Century Resort. Your son will love the colorful over-sized decor and the themed swimming pools!

When the time comes closer for you to book your trip, keep an eye on the Special Offers. I see you are planning a July 2017 trip. While it is always a great time to visit Walt Disney World, this is not the most budget-friendly time of year. I have found the best deals myself in the fall months and during select weeks in January and February. It is hard to know for sure what the pricing will be in a couple years, however when you are set to book you can do so online. Once online you can play with different dates and even your length of stay so you can be sure to stay within your budget.

If you are flying in, you do not need to worry about renting a car. Disney's Magical Express will take you from Orlando International Airport right to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel and will take you back to the airport when it is time to go home. There is also complimentary transportation to take you to the Theme Parks and even the Downtown Disney Area.

Another budget-friendly tip I like to give is to bring groceries if you will have a car, or order them online if you will not. I recommend, as they will deliver right to your hotel. You can save costs by having breakfast and snack items in your room. We typically order muffins, fruit, milk, crackers, and cases of bottled water (you may bring bottled water into the Theme Parks with you).

Please visit us if you need any additional help, Sandra. Happy Planning!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
