Is a 4 yr old boy to young for the Indiana Jones show at Hollywood Studios?

Hello Carrie and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where it's our pleasure to assist you and your dear family with your plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
Oh boy!  I have to tell you Carrie that my own boys have from a very young age always immensely enjoyed watching the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  I think if your young aspiring Indy fan already likes action and adventure he'll absolutely love this 30 minute long live-action show where specialist stunt co-ordinators and highly entertaining actors provide a fun insight into the world of action movies and how they're made.  There are plenty of laughs and high-jinx along the way and although there's mild peril involved there is (in my opinion), no dark or truly frightening moments to concern parents of little ones.
Plus I also thought you may find this Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones to be an extra useful resource.
Wishing you a magical upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
    Have a great Disney day.
