My 4yr old has a BBB apt. Can I bring my 2 year old to watch and change her in the dressing room and do her hair so she doesn't feel left out? I know she can't have an appointment, but can I bring stuff for her too so she doesn't get upset?

Hi Briana, thanks for bringing another question to planDisney!

I totally understand not wanting your 2-year-old to feel left out while her older sibling is getting a special makeover. Each child can be accompanied by up to 2 Guests during their makeover. After your older child has selected her outfit, the Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice will escort you to a dressing room to change into her new outfit. During my experience at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique earlier this year, we weren’t in the dressing room for very long, so you might not have time to change your older daughter and younger daughter into their dresses. I recommend having your younger daughter wear her Princess outfit before the appointment, so both girls have the time they need to change.

After your daughter is changed, you’ll go to the salon where your oldest daughter will have her hair styled and makeup applied. This room has seating so you can watch your child as she gets her makeover. There are also Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices and Disney PhotoPass photographers walking around the room, so there may not be room for you to style your younger daughter’s hair and makeup at this time.

In this case, I would also recommend giving your younger daughter her “makeover” before you arrive at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. You can do this in your Resort room before you head to the parks for the day, and even ask your older daughter to be your “apprentice” and assist you with the makeover! If you’re staying in a Disney Resort, you can listen to Radio Disney on the Resort TV, or if your room has a “Hey, Disney” device, you can ask to hear Soundscapes themed to a favorite Disney story.

Once both daughters have had their makeovers, you can take them both to Sir Mickey’s for a photo session in the Royal Portrait Studio. I suggest purchasing Memory Maker so you can download the photos from the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience and Sir Mickey’s photo session, as well as any other photos you take with Disney PhotoPass photographers.

I hope this helps, Briana! It won’t be long before your younger daughter is old enough to participate in Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! Perhaps another visit to Walt Disney World is in your future! If you have any more questions, send them our way at planDisney!
