I have an 8 yr old with an adult appetite who will be eating on the child dining plan. He prefers adult foods. Would he be able to eat adult items that are smaller sized with the child DP?

Many of Walt Disney World's restaurants do offer at least one entree that might appeal to those with more mature taste buds.  While you will find typical kid food like pizza, chicken nuggets and hot dogs to be a fairly universal offering, so, too, will you find items like grilled meats, pasta dishes, and specialty dishes.  These entrees are not as widely available on the kids menu, but they do exist.  Your son will, though, be required to order from the kids menu to participate in the dining plan.  And unfortunately, it isn't possible to size-down a regular menu item to a kid menu portion.  I hope that clears things up for you, Darcie.

    PS.  Great name!
