    6 yr DD & I had 1st trip in Feb at CS. DD now wants to take GPs. GM has Parkinsons's. She is mobile but tires easily, will rent wheelchair. Which moderate hotel is best? Liked CS but never been to others so don't know if they would be better

    Hi Heather,

    My mother has Parkinson's and is in a wheelchair, so I can certainly understand the need to keep things as simple as possible.  My suggestion is Port Orleans - French Quarter because it is the smallest of the moderate resorts.  It has 1008 rooms compared to Coronado Springs' 1921 rooms.  Similarly, it has 1 bus stop while Coronado has 4.  

    The theming is wonderful at the resort with its play on New Orleans, and it has a bonus of being able to take a boat to Downtown Disney (wheelchairs are welcome nearly all of the time; the exception is unusual water levels that make using a ramp difficult).

    Have a magical trip!  Going with 3 generations is such a wonderful experience!
