Greetings, Cari! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
I am so excited that you and your daughter will be experiencing
Mickey's Halloween Party this year! Don't forget that your party ticket allows you to enter either park three hours before the party begins. There's lots of fun Halloween decorations this year in Disney California Adventure Park that you won't want to miss, including a Haul-o-Ween overlay of Cars Land!
As for the party, if your daughter is like most teenagers I know and can stay up late in the night, then I suggest that you watch the second performance of the
Frightfully Fun Parade. Many families will attend the party with small children who can't stay up as late, so the majority of these Guests will watch the first parade earlier in the evening. Use that time to trick-or-treat with your daughter and ride a lot of attractions with minimal waits. Then you can watch Halloween Screams: A Villainous Surprise in the Skies and catch the second parade a little after the fireworks are over.
In addition to Jack Skellington, there are lots of other dastardly villains to be found at the party that you can't often meet at any other times. They converge upon Town Square transforming it into
Villain's Square during the party. Other Disney characters are out and about too with some in adorable Halloween costumes that always make for great pictures. Speaking of photos, don't forget that downloads of your PhotoPass photos taken during the party are included with your party ticket this year!
I hope you have a delightful time at Mickey's Halloween Party!
