Hey there, Shannan - welcome to planDisney! It sounds like your family has an amazing trip planned.
There’s nothing like getting right off of the plane and heading straight to the theme parks, so I have great news for you. Provided that they have tickets and a
park pass reservation for the day, your daughters will be able to enter the parks as soon as they arrive! More specifically per
Disney policy, children aged 14 years old and older can enter the theme parks without accompaniment. So there will be no issues with your daughters’ vacation starting as quickly as possible!
And speaking of vacations starting as quickly as possible, we want to also make sure that your vacation begins from the moment you drive your car onto Disney property! Even if you expect to arrive in the afternoon, you can always check into your Resort Hotel in the
My Disney Experience app with the
Direct-To-Room Service. While completing the check-in prompts, you can let the hotel know your expected arrival time and opt to receive a mobile notification when your room is ready. I love the convenience of the Direct to Room Service. It gives me the freedom to bypass the front desk and head straight to my hotel room once it is ready! After a long drive, sometimes you just need to head straight to your relaxation space.
I hope this helps, Shannan! If you have more questions as you plan,
stop back by and ask me. After all, you’ve got a friend in me!
To Infinity and Beyond,
PG
