I have 11yr boy and 9yr girl. This will be their first trip to Disney. Trying to decide if a Disney Cruise would be the way to go? Marvel Day sounds so appealing for our family. OR, a trip to Disney World? Both would create family memories, any advise?

    Hello Sheri!

First, let me assure you- there is NO wrong answer to your question!  Both a Walt Disney World vacation and a trip on the outstanding Disney Cruise Line will indeed help your family make magical memories.  For me, it comes down to the question: what type of vacation are you looking for?

Do you like to be busy and physically active on vacation? Do you enjoy attractions, parades, and shows? Do you enjoy planning and researching things to do, places to eat, and how to spend your time?  If so, then Walt Disney World is for you!  You can also enjoy a trip to Walt Disney World without doing all of the planning if you find a great Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.

    Or...

Do you enjoy a more laid back vacation with plenty of opportunities for relaxation? Do you prefer the ease of having your dining plans laid out for you?  Do you want some opportunities for your kids to have fun with organized activities while you enjoy a date night?  Does your idea of a perfect vacation day involve enjoying the beach on a private island?  If this is more your speed, then a Disney Cruise Line vacation is for you!

Of course, you could always do a land/sea combination!  Book a few nights at Walt Disney World and follow that with a four-night Disney Cruise. Win-Win!

    Good luck with your decision!
