10yr anniversary is 10/2 & we're thinking about the Food/Wine festival. We always stay at the value resorts but r considering a splurge at the Yacht Club or Boardwalk. Worth it? Which is more fun? this is our first kid-less vacation since our honeymoon

    Hi Cynthia!

I definitely recommend the deluxe resort splurge to celebrate your 10 years of marriage.  We love to spend our anniversary at Walt Disney World every year.

Yacht Club and Boardwalk are amazing resorts.  Either one is the perfect resort for your kid-less Food & Wine Festival vacation.  Assuming you will be enjoying adult beverages, it is super convenient to be able to walk right back to your room from Epcot and not have to share a bus back to your resort.  Boardwalk has more night life and evening activities, so that is something to consider.  The Yacht and Beach Club resorts are more laid back and quiet.  They are a short walk to the Boardwalk, so you won't miss out on dancing the night away at Jelly Rolls.

Personally, I love the Yacht and Beach Club.  My husband and I always consider the pool at a resort, with or without kids, and the Yacht and Beach Club has the best pool out of all the Walt Disney World resorts.  (In my opinion, of course)

You can't go wrong with any resort you choose, deluxe or not.

    Have a magical day!
