Hello, the Yoyal Gathering is not on the app for our upcoming cruise on the Disney Wonder, is it available on this ship?

    Ahoy, Susana!

Welcome aboard planDisney! I’m so glad you sailed by with your question—because the Royal Gathering truly is a dream come true for any fan of Disney royalty. There’s nothing quite like seeing little ones light up when they meet a whole lineup of beloved princesses, all in one place. It’s like walking into your very own page of a storybook.

Now, here’s the scoop straight from the royal court: Royal Gathering is typically offered on all Disney Cruise Line ships, including the Wonder. However, this regal event isn’t guaranteed on every sailing and can vary depending on itinerary, ship schedule, and character availability (even princesses need a day off now and then!).

Since your voyage is just about a week away, and you’re not seeing the Royal Gathering available in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, it’s likely that reservations have filled up—this event is one of the most popular onboard and tends to go faster than Cinderella’s coach at midnight!

But fear not—there’s still hope! On our recent sailing, my family experienced the same thing. Royal Gathering was all booked up before we boarded, but once we connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi in the terminal, we spotted new openings. We grabbed a time that worked perfectly with our schedule, and just like that—bibbidi-bobbidi-booked! So I highly recommend checking the app again as soon as you're in the terminal on embarkation day.

If you still don’t see it after boarding, be sure to stop by Guest Services. The Crew Members there are like the Fairy Godmothers of logistics and can confirm whether the Royal Gathering will be offered on your cruise—and whether any last-minute reservations are available.

In the meantime, don’t be surprised if you spot a princess or two mingling around the ship! While the Royal Gathering is the most convenient way to meet multiple royals at once, you may still catch individual princesses during other scheduled meet-and-greets listed in your Navigator app throughout the voyage. So keep your eyes peeled and autograph books ready—royal encounters often pop up when you least expect them!

I hope this helps set your magical plans in motion and gives your family the royal welcome you were hoping for. With a little faith, trust, and maybe some Wi-Fi magic, you just might find yourself in the heart of a fairy tale at sea.

Sea ya real soon with a splash of April fun and a boatload of Disney magic,
    Dustin
