Since you've had your weekend at the F&W Festival, what were your favorites? Do you still stand by the Grand Marnier Slushie and the one from Morocco? Any new ones to add? Also, I have res. at Narcoossee's for 9pm on the 9th. Good place for bday din

    Hi Lesley!

I am so glad that you are back for an update!  I thought of you while touring the Festival - you are going to love it!  Now that I have had a chance to experience it, I must say that I did a pretty good job at predicting my own favorites.  Since the heat was much, much worse than I anticipated for this time of year, I stuck to the frozen stuff.  The frozen margaritas and Grand Marnier Slush are available year round, but were sooo good.  Two of my three favorites were from Puerto Rico - the Bacardi Frozen Mojito and the Bacardi Dragon Berry Slush.  The only downfall of these two drinks is that they didn't come with straws, only spoons.  In retrospect, it probably kept us from slurping them down too fast!  My favorite drink of the entire festival, not surprisingly, was the Parisian Cosmo Slush.  They were even served in plastic cocktail glasses - very cute!  Unfortunately, because of the heat, I was hesitant to try some of the cocktails that I really wanted - you will have to drink them for me!

Narcoossee's is amazing - quite a splurge, but worth every penny!  If you are able to get a seat near the windows, you may even have the chance to catch the Electrical Water Pageant gliding by.  Whatever you do, be sure to call 1-407-WDW-DINE and have them note that you are celebrating your birthday on your reservation.  I won't give away any surprises, but let's just say that they offer very "personalized" service.  Since your ADR is later in the evening, it should be mainly adults dining, but it is Disney World after all.  If you are looking for a romantic evening, be sure to request a table away from small children.  Enjoy your fabulous birthday vacation!

    Much pixie dust,
