If you’re a magic key holder can you enter the park without a reservation after a certain time?

    Greetings, Irene!

Welcome to planDisney! Your question made my day because connecting with fellow Magic Keyholders like yourself is A Whole New World of fun for me! I've been riding the magic carpet of my Imagine Key for over a year now, exploring the theme parks with my friends and my little Mouseketeer, with no one to tell us no, or where to go, or say we're only dreaming.

Here's a trick I use with some of my best friends that I'd like to share – we've linked our Magic Keys together, creating a theme park dream team. This way, we can make theme park reservations for each other and keep the fun going (Because life happens, and someone is bound to forget, right?). Plus, we can also take turns getting Lightning Lane return times and zipping through the turnstiles together.

Now, onto your question, Irene: Yes, Magic Keyholders need to make park reservations for each day they plan to visit. Since I live just a short carpet ride away from the resort, I've often tried my luck with snagging a theme park reservation for a spontaneous same-day visit, and it usually works out, depending on the time of year. But a word of advice: If your plans hinge on having a reservation or meeting up with friends, book one as soon as you know your date!

I often meet up with my princess pals in the late afternoon. We usually grab an early dinner or treats, catch the Magic Happens parade, and soak in the evening vibes. And Irene, after 11am, Magic Key holders can freely soar between the two theme parks for the rest of the day as long as they have a theme park reservation for that day. No magic lamp required.

I hope this clears things up for you, Irene. You're like a shooting star. You've come so far you can't go back to where you used to be. So hop back on that magic carpet and visit me again if you have more questions or want more tips for navigating your Magic Carpet…I mean...Key.

Remember to take it wonder by wonder,
