Hi there, Harley!
Before we get started, thank you so much for your service. As a Florida native and spouse of a military veteran, I am so happy to have you here at planDisney. I'm also a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder. There's nothing like having the keys to the kingdom and being able to visit as often as possible.
In order to qualify for one of the
annual passes that are open to Florida residents (all of the passes: the Disney Pixie Dust, Pirate, Sorcerer, and Incredi-Pass), you must meet the following requirements:
-Have a valid ID with a Florida address (like a driver's license or Florida-based military ID)
OR
-Provide proof via a mortgage statement, utility bills, or other residency evidence that are listed on this
Proof of Florida Residency web page.
I love that with an annual pass that you can receive so many perks like included standard theme park parking, discounts on merchandise and food, and other cool extras throughout the year. Currently, in the month of June, the Disney Parks have
V.I.PASSHOLDER Days where we're getting an even bigger than usual discount on merchandise and get other special exclusives.
AN EXTRA GEM: One of the coolest benefits of getting your hands on an annual pass? After 2 p.m., we can visit any theme park without a reservation! The only exception is visiting Magic Kingdom Park on Saturdays and Sundays--you'll still need a
park pass reservation. This is perfect for my family's last-minute, afternoon visits.
I hope that this helps, Harley! If you have any other questions about your upcoming visits to your home state, don't hesitate to
ask us here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
