If you’re on a dining plan for your trip, is the cup included just for your resort or can it be used at all the parks? Didn’t know if you had to buy cups for each of the parks or the one could be used at all places

Hello there, Stephanie! Thank you so much for coming back to chat with us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Pour yourself a beverage as we talk about quenching your thirst at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Since you've wisely made the Disney Dining Plan part of your vacation plans, you'll receive one RapidFill refillable mug per person on your reservation. Once you've picked up your mugs, you'll be able to fill 'er up at the drink stations in any Disney Resort hotel, but unfortunately, we can't refill our mugs in any of the Theme Parks at this time. However, you can still bring the mugs with you into the Parks. I'll sometimes transfer the free cups of ice water available at quick-service restaurants into a mug to help keep it cool a bit longer, or pour a bottle of soda into my mug with some ice for a nice chilled beverage on a warm Florida day.

Stephanie, even though you can't top off that mug in the Parks, there are several dining locations that sport self-serve soda machines for refills during your meal. If you grab a bite at Sunshine Seasons or the Electric Umbrella at Epcot; Restaurantosaurus in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park; Backlot Express at Disney's Hollywood Studios; or Be Our Guest Restaurant (breakfast and lunch only) at the Magic Kingdom Park, feel free to sip to your heart's content!

Also, since you can refill the mugs at any Disney Resort hotel, they do come in handy if you're doing a little Resort hopping. We like to take a break from Magic Kingdom Park and visit the Resort hotels along the monorail line, so bringing a mug along means we can grab a drink to go!

I hope this helps you have a refreshing Walt Disney World vacation, Stephanie. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
