You're awesome! Planning on visiting 4/22-4/28/09 and overwhelmed! Are there better or worse days of the week to visit certain parks, if possible (i.e: avoid MK on weekend, etc)? Thanks for all your help.

    Dana:

Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel with your question--and thanks for the compliment!

Generally, crowds are lower on the weekdays than on the weekends, so I've have found that Tuesday through Thursday is the best time to visit the "smaller" parks like Magic Kingdom or Disney Studios. (And Tuesday tends to host the smallest crowds). Our family usually saves Epcot for the day that we think will be the most crowded, like a Friday or Sunday. Its large sidewalks and big campus spreads the crowds out better.

A good strategy is to visit the park that has early magic hours, and when they crowds begin building by noon, use your park hopper to move to another park. If you don't have park hoppers, I suggest skipping the park with magic hours altogether.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
