    If you're already in the Magic Kingdom do you still need to buy tickets for the Christmas spectacular parade?

    Hi Maria!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

    There are generally three different "Christmas" parades in the Magic Kingdom in December.  There's the Christmas parade that is offered as part of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade that is shown on television (actually performed and taped in early December), and the Christmas parade that is performed in the Magic Kingdom Christmas week.

    The Christmas parade that is performed during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is performed only at the party and during Christmas week.  If you are visiting in early December, for example, and not attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party then you won't be able to see it.

    So to answer your question, unless you are visiting Christmas week, you will need to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party to see the special parade.  By the way, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a fabulous event.  I do recommend trying it out if you have never experienced it before.
