Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mandy! The spooky atmosphere of Halloween is perfect to celebrate the season at Walt Disney World Resort. My kids adored getting ready and getting dressed as their favorite Disney Characters.
Unfortunately, Trick or Treating options outside of the
Halloween party are extremely limited, as there is no Trick or Treating at Disney Springs or other Parks. The Fort Wilderness Campgrounds traditionally have a large trick or treating night for their Resort guests but this resort operates a very hard close on Halloween, meaning unless you have a dining reservation there or are a Campground or Cabin guest there, you will not be able to enter the Resort. Most of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels offer some type of Halloween activity for their guests, from spooky family friendly film to photo booths, crafts, scavenger hunts and more, so your best bet is to check the holiday plans with your
Resort Hotel. Since plans for the 2018 Halloween season are still being announced, you may find that a Resort or two will offer some sort of trick or treating, so stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for more information.
If I can help you find a ghost to follow your family home, or help summon Madame Leota for more insight, please let me know. As the ghosts in the mansion say, “So hurry back, we would like your company!” ~ Lindsey P.
