My youngest son is almost old enough for a magic key pass. How can I get him one when we renew ours? We expire November 30.

    Hi there, Kareen,

It feels bittersweet to watch our little Mouseketeers grow up, doesn’t it? At least while they are growing up we get to watch the sparkle and wonder in their eyes, especially while visiting the Disneyland Resort!

If your soon-to-be three-year-old will be using a Disneyland Resort Magic Key pass that is currently for sale, I recommend making that purchase as soon as you can. You can then wait to activate it until your child’s third birthday or the time frame of your other pass renewals if you won’t be needing it until then.

If your other Magic Key passes are a type that is not currently available for new sales but that is still supported, and you would like your child to have the same pass type, then you will need to make a phone call to the Magic Key Holders phone line. The Cast Members there can provide you with the information needed to address your specific needs and timeline.

Once you have everything in place with your Magic Key passes, I’d say it’s time to plan your son’s birthday celebration! Could there be a more thrilling place to celebrate a birthday than at the Disneyland Resort? You can break out the party hats, add a special birthday treat to a dinner at select restaurants, and, of course, request a complimentary birthday button. However you choose to celebrate, I hope your son has a magical day!

    See ya real soon, Kareen!
