My youngest is saving her money so she can buy some souvenirs at WDW this July. We plan on going to Downtown Disney for our shopping. What I was wondering is what the prices range from:\? Do they start out pretty low for like key chains and such?

    Hi Sue:

I've just started to teach my youngest about saving. Luckily, even with small allowances, my kids are able to choose from a number of non-expensive souvenirs at Walt Disney World. You'll find autograph books, key chains, pens, pencils, antenna toppers, Disney-themed candy and character figurines for a few dollars. Walt Disney World luggage tags cost about $5.00. Your youngest can collect pins and Vinylmations (some for under $10) as well. Pressed coins are also inexpensive as they only cost 51 cents for a penny or $1.25 for a quarter. There are so many inexpensive collectibles or gifts to choose from. I would browse around the Disney Store online to get a sense of what else may be available during your trip. When you get to Walt Disney World, I would make stop at the World of Disney for an extremely large selection of souvenirs.

    Enjoy your vacation.
