My youngest is 10 and is a very, very picky eater. If he's considered an adult on the dining plan, would he still be allowed to choose a meal from the kids menu if he couldn't find anything he liked on the adult menu?

    HI Dawn,

I understand about having children who are very picky eaters.  My son, who is now 14, is the same way. The Disney Dining Plan considers someone over the age of nine to pick from the "adult menu."  There was so many times that none of the dishes would do.  Usually then we would ask our server if he could have a plate of plain pasta since he would eat more than that on the kids menu.  All of the restaurants are very accommodating.  There were times when he would venture out of his comfort zone and really did not like the entree that he ordered and usually the restaurant would make him something else.  So to answer you question, yes your son can order off the children's menu if he would like.  A child (age 3-9) cannot, however, order off the adult menu.
