My youngest is 22 months and we are bringing an umbrella stroller for him, but for areas where stroller isn't allowed do you think the more compactly stored ring sling or the bulkier but more comfortable for long wear Ergo would be better.

    Hi Heather!

Most areas are stroller friendly, but for other areas, like waiting in queue, I'd use whatever I was comfortable with.  For us, it depended on who was carrying the little one.  If I was carrying the little one,  I would use my sling because the Ergo was never a comfortable fit for me.  My husband, on the other hand, always used the carrier.  For short amounts of time in queue, I'd use the ring sling.

    Have a magical vacation!
